Is there a way to clone senior Alexis Monreal? He is the type of student every teacher would like to have more of! This guy is absolutely phenomenal. He is in the top 10 of the class of 2020. He competes in Football and Powerlifting. He has an incredibly strong work ethic. And he has a powerfully infectious positive attitude.

Alexis says, “If something challenges me, I want to learn it. I want to master it.” As a student at Inspired Vision Academy since 4th grade, he has consistently performed at an accelerated pace. He likes Inspired Vision because of the small class sizes and teachers who go out of their way to make sure students get what they need. These two factors have helped him learn at a faster pace and with more retention.

Alexis is planning to attend the University of Texas at Arlington to study Biology, then go on to medical school. As a first generation college student, he highly values the advantages of a strong education. Alexis’ parents both immigrated to the United States prior to finishing their own education. They have consistently encouraged and supported Alexis and his brothers toward higher education. Alexis' Dad works hard and earns a good living in construction. At the same time, he wants a better life for his sons. Alexis sees the toll manual labor takes on his Dad and is motivated to earn a degree in a field where he is able to earn a good living, and work in a less labor intensive environment.

Dr. Boston said, “Alexis is an exemplary student.  He demonstrates leadership and achievement in the classroom and extracurricular activities.  He is a great role model for our younger students and a true example of Eagle Excellence!”

We are confident Alexis will make us proud as an Inspired Vision graduate.
